ABOUT

Kimmie Meissner is a 17 year old rising star in United States figure skating. She is the 2003 National Novice ladies champion and the 2004 National Junior ladies champion. She won the silver medal at the 2004 Junior World Championships. The 2004-2005 season marked her senior level debut. She won the bronze medal during that season at her senior Nationals debut where she became the second American woman to land a triple axel in competition. During the 2005-2006 season, she became the National Silver Medalist and a 2006 Olympian, placing 6th in the games at her first world class international at the senior level. She capped off a very successful season by winning the gold medal in her very first World Championship appearance, proving to the world than she can compete with the best - and win! During the 2006-2007 season, she became National Champion for the first time on the senior level.
